Welcome to Goat farm Ridammerhoeve. Our company is located in a beautiful location, in the middle of the Amsterdamse Bos. Besides goats, there are also chickens, pigs, cows and horses. Visitors are welcome to take a look at the stables while our work continues. By organizing various activities in the field of education and care, the farm involves the townspeople from the region in farm work. In addition to the goat farm, we also have a vegetable garden where we grow organic vegetables and herbs and a farm shop. There are cheese making workshops and you can also have a party or organize a meeting. Of course you are also very welcome for a cappuccino on the terrace while the children enjoy themselves in the playground! The goat farm has about a hundred dairy goats, about sixty lambs, laying hens and chicks, pigs, cows and a calf, a horse and a pony. All farm products are for sale in our farm shop. We process the goat's milk in our cheese cellar into various types of cheese, but also yoghurt, buttermilk, butter, yoka drink and quark. Even the ice cream is made from goat's milk. You can have a breakfast here with a lot of Bio and home made products from goat cheese, the children are allowed to play on the playground with the goats, you can feed the baby goats with a sippy cup of milks and you can even join a special goat yoga class on the weekends or attend on a cheesemaker workshop. 35 km from the campsite. 40 mins by car.

Hiking/cycling

It's a beautiful open garden with a special church, a hidden gem in the village of Hazerswoude-Dorp. There are many different types of plants and garden sections (for example: Rosagarden, Japanese garden, etc.) It's always open, and it's almost always very abandoned and calm. It's the perfect place for turning a bit more inward and enjoying the pieceful nature around you. The entrance is completely free. You can get there by boat or by bike from the campsite, it takes like 5-10 minutes.

A beautiful hiking trail not too far away from the camping. There is a spooky urban legend about this place, but you should be brave enough to visit it, because it's a magically beautiful area.

Meijendel is a beautiful dune area and part of the Hollandse Duinen National Park. Here you can enjoy cycling and walking for hours. You discover the forest and the high dunes. You can also look out over the infiltration ponds, which are important for water extraction. The area is very rich in different plant and animal species. The variety in the area makes every visit an adventure. If you follow the yellow route, you can get to one of my favorite beaches in the Netherlands: Wassenaar.
