Best place to eat crabs - right on the water! VERY casual. No reservations are take so expect to wait at least 45 minutes on a summer weekend - but it's not that bad. Get some drinks at the bar as well as mussels or clams and/or walk around the boats at the pier. The time goes by quickly. Also - my opinion is to go mid to lake afternoon and the line won't be quite as long. Make sure to check out the soft shell crab tanks down on the pier. There is a reason other crab places lines are not as long......

Great local steakhouse. Ruth's Chris is right next door which is also nice. Local hint: the Ruth's Chris valet guys don't mind if you use them and eat at Lewnes'. Shhhh.....

This is also a new restaurant that opened in 2022 and quickly zoomed to the top of the restaurant scene in Annapolis and I would say significantly upgraded the restaurant scene. It pretty high end although not crazy expensive. Definitely more of a formal feel than most places. Downstairs is a really cool "speakeasy" bar in this historic building that makes you feel like you are in the 1920's.

This place is super cozy and a little off the beaten path and nowhere near the water. The food is fantastic and the service very good.

In my opinion, Harry Browne's is tied with Acqua for best restaurant in Annapolis. It is in an historic building on Church Circle and has fantastic food, service, and ambiance. If you want a VERY nice meal to celebrate something, it is between here and Acqua.
