Love this intimate little restaurant and the food is divine. Very small so tables are in hot demand - great for a romantic night with a twist or treat yourselves to one of the best breakfasts EVER :-)

Best fish and chips in my opinion. Not a stylish restaurant and you certainly don't get a view, but the quality is top notch. And last time we were there we spotted Nick Cave... looks like we are not the only ones to hold their fish n'chips in high esteem ;-)

This pub has a fantastic sunny back garden with intimate large tables which are ideal for family get-togethers & parties. Unusual tapas-style menu (3/4 plates p/person) specialising in traditional fine english dishes... a real find!

If you feel like a walk, this is worth a visit particularly if you enjoy a run or have kids (part of this huge park has a great playground suitable for both young and older kids). Also good for a cycle ride

Museums and historic houses are not really my thing, but I have to say I really enjoyed this one. I loved the pavilion's regency grandeur mixed with the gilt splendour of Chinese and Indian culture. Check out the exhibitions showing at the Brighton Museum & Gallery also... always worth a look

Best grocery store, lovely fresh fruit & veg and the best selection of herbal tea. Recommend buying their huge bundle of fresh mint if you are fond of mint tea also - they do a mean goat curry too!
