Every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month you can go to the soul train. Great northern soul music until 5am on 3 floors with a BBQ outside. It's in Peckham so you could walk to Catford station which is 20min and then from there take a direct train (3 stops to Peckham).

It's a trendy bar on the top of a car park in Peckham with amazing views of London! Go Catford station (20min walk) and then direct train to Peckham which is only 3 stops away. Only from June to September!

Getting Around
Hither Green station is 8min walking distance. You can take the train to Charing Cross which is a stop close to Trafalgar Square where the national gallery is (it also stops London Bridge and Waterloo east). There are also trains to Cannon Street which is close to Bank/ monument.

Natural history museum, massive instruments collection and aquarium. Lovely garden and museums cafe. No entrance fee. Just take the bus 180 towards Victoria. It's at the end of George Lane/ rushey green. Takes 20min on the bus and you can also get off in forest hill where you have many great cafes and pubs.
