This little gem of a bakery with a European flair has some excellent pastries. The bakery buzzes with locals and it's the place to be for a croissant and coffee. The chocolate croissants are to die for.

Its also known as the "Kissing Bridge is also Ontario's last remaining covered bridge and a reminder of days gone by. .Take along a picnic and sit along the Grand River and enjoy the views.

The entry way to a beautiful day! The fee to access the Conservation Area is $6.00 per person. With this entrance fee you also have access to the Quarry. Elora Gorge Conservation area is a beautiful place to explore, take scenic photos, picnic, hike or river raft down the Grand River for the day.

This watering hole was once a limestone quarry and is our favorite place to spend a hot summer afternoon. The water is turquoise in color, cold and fresh and you can set up your blanket on the sandy beach area. Bring a picnic lunch and your own beverages as you can't buy them on site. Tip: The GRCA has imposed a 1,300 person daily limit to lessen the environmental impact of the area. Our advice is to go as soon as the Quarry opens and purchase your ticket-it gets very busy in summer and the park closes to new comers when they reach capacity. Tickets are $10. per person.

We love to visit Lake Belwood several times during the summer. There are scenic walking trails throughout the conservation area along with a small sandy beach and designated swimming area. Guests are also able to rent aluminum boats, sailboats, canoes, etc. to explore the lake. In the winter people come to the conservation area for walking, Pickerel Ice fishing, cross country skiing as well as snowmobiling.

Dining here is a treat! They have two balconies and a waterfront patio as well. We love to go to places and sit outside on a warm summer evening. The pizzas are wonderful so its a real tossup of pizza or pasta-both equally delicious.

The Evelyn is one of Elora's newest restaurants. This French-inspired casual fine-dining spot home to some incredible dishes. Since they opened we have dined here for most of our special events-birthdays and anniversaries. We love the attentive wait staff, the atmosphere and the Jazz that is quietly playing in the background-a very classy place. The flat iron steak is our favorite entre and always order just that as it is so amazing. We usually start with the olives and the fresh bread, and fresh salad and rarely have we been able to handle a desert though I hear they are great. The Evelyn also has a nice selection of Cab Sav wines to enjoy while dining. It's at the top of my list of restaurants in Elora.

Elora Distilling Company just opened in 2020 and we just love the authentic looking building and ads charm to the downtown area. They serve amazing cocktails as well as custom spirits. A great place to visit for afternoon/evening drinks.
