Parks & Nature
Yosemite National Park, and the iconic Half-Dome, are must-do's for anyone who loves nature and is coming out to visit in this area. The Yosemite Valley where most of the key features are located, is do-able in a day and most of the key features are an easy walk from a nearby parking area so you don't have to be an athlete to come enjoy the views! Be aware that Parking can be a challenge in the Summer months so using the provided shuttles is advised. But, for those who love to hike, there are countless miles of walking trails. The Climb to Half Dome should only be attempted by someone in decent shape, and permits are required so do check with the NPS website for more information!

The zoo is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) and is a member of the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA). In 2016, the zoo had an attendance of 964,091 guests, a 19% increase over 2015, making it one of the most visited zoos in the United States.

Wild Water is a 52-acre water park with a wave pool, kiddie area, mat slides, a rapid ride & more. It's located just east of Clovis and about 5 minutes away. A great way to spend the day if you want a bit of a 'down-day' from traveling around the area.

11413 E Shaw AveWild Water is a 52-acre water park with a wave pool, kiddie area, mat slides, a rapid ride & more. It's located just east of Clovis and about 5 minutes away. A great way to spend the day if you want a bit of a 'down-day' from traveling around the area.
Food Scene
This is one of our personal favorites. :) Located about 20 mins away, the Dog House Grill is a sports-bar that is also family friendly and has takeout service (you can't phone in your orders though). But, they do have THE BEST Tri-Tip BBQ Sandwiches on the planet and their portions of seasoned fries will quench any appetite! We recommend a single side of fries for two-three people - seriously! If you're not familiar with Tri-Tip, the closest thing I can relate it to would be a grilled brisket cut into thin slices with smoke infused tastebud flavor bombs!
