Our local winery

Posh Plonk winery is situated on the beautiful shores of Lake Hume Albury, the vineyard is set over 5 acres and has been established for 20 years.
Enjoy the celler door experience while taking in the panoramic views over the Posh Pond out to Lake Hume, the weir wall and beyond. Take our two bicycles and cycle less than 500 metres to the winery. Pre order a cheese board for your enjoyment!

The Boat Shed Lake Hume has recently been renovated and is great for relaxed family meals overlooking the lake.
Recommend the wood fired pizza and a beer or wine on the outdoor terrace overlooking Lake Hume.

'The Spirit of Wymah', a heritage listed cable ferry built in 1946.

The ferry crosses the river at Wymah in New South Wales and Granya in Victoria, and is a fun alternative which enables you to experience the Murray River. The passenger carrying ferry can take three cars, however is not suitable for caravans.
The Whyma punt experience can be included in a low-key drive going either left through Bethanga, or right past and beyond the Bethanga Bridge towards Talgarno. Follow this road to the Wymah Punt at Granya

Historic Beechworth
