This is a hidden gem. It's a bit hard to find if you don't know exactly where it is on the map. Make sure you make a reservation before going there for dinner, as it's usually full during sunset hours.

This is located in the heart of Fira, just next to the main square. It looks like a garden from the outside so it will be easy to find it. 'Kipos' in greek means 'the garden', so they did a pretty good job making this place very cosy and relaxing, even though it's next to the main street of Fira. Very nice food and a variety of wines.

This is a very nice restaurant in Perivolos beach. A lot of options for vegetarians or vegans. Their salads are amazing, not only because they are XL size (it's hard to finish it by yourself), but also because the use natural and fresh products. Highly recommended after your swim at Perivolos beach.

Megalochori is located in the south part of the island. Its stunning beauty combines the cycladic architecture with the elegance of neoclassical houses. Megalochori is the heart of the wine roads of Santorini, with some of the best wineries, like Boutari Winery or Gavalas Winery. It's a very quiet and traditional village with small, cobblestone streets. There are also two beaches nearby, Plaka and Thermi, on the caldera side. Both of them are not accessible by car, so you will have to walk a few minutes to get there.

Imerovigli is just 3km north of Fira town. It is build on the highest point of Caldera (500 meters above sea level). Its magnificent view of the caldera and volcano does justice to its nickname, "the balcony of Santorini". Narrow cobblestone streets, cave houses and white washed buildings are just some of the reasons everyone should visit Imerovigli. Skaros is one of the landmarks in this town and one of the five old castles of the island. It was the capital of Santorini in the 17th century. You can start the hiking trail to Oia from here.

Akrotiri is one of the most historically important places in Santorini. Its prehistoric town, one of the oldest settlements in the Aegean islands (4000 BC) is a rare find and a must see for everyone. Its spectacular view of the caldera and the sunset from the lighthouse are breathtaking. Red beach is a very popular destination, getting its name from the huge red rocks surrounding it. There are many seafood taverns in Akrotiri beach where you will have a lovely lunch or dinner.
