⋒ This is beautiful walk that covers both coastline and mountianscape.

⋒ Once up the mountain you can choose to continue upwards and come down around Reotahi or continue down to a little beach bay.
⋒ This bush track takes you all across the back of Onerahi. Chose a track that takes you to a secluded beach, through the mangroves, or find the swing bridge.
⋒ Great for photos and great for exploring the native ngahere (bush).
⋒ About 7 minute drive from here.

⋒ Just 10 minutes up the road are these caves that are beginner - moderate. You will need to walk down muddy stairs and across a paddock to get to them. Make sure you bring a torch (head lamps are best) and be prepared to get wet. Cave Wetas do dwell in here :)

⋒ A long walk but worth it. Half is across a paddock with 360 sea views then head down a whole bunch of stairs to cross an underwater pathway to the lighthouse. Take the trek up the mountain until you reach the top. ⋒ Needs to be done on low tide or you will not get across to the lighthouse, moderate fitness level required.
⋒ Stop off at Waihi at the marina on the way back for some hot choccie + fuel

Take the trek up the mountain until you reach the top. ⋒ Needs to be done on low tide or you will not get across to the lighthouse, moderate fitness level required.
