Another great local eaterie. If you want to try some local dishes, head over to Bonnie Lou's. They serve an excellent lunch every day (except Sundays) and great dinners on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

If you're a foodie, you will enjoy Timeless Cafe. The prices are a bit higher (although still quite reasonable), and the food is fantastic! The menu changes regularly, the food is all local and really really really tastey. Call and reserve a seat in advance.

Sightseeing
Here's a few places that you just must visit when you're stopping by Elmira. We love our little central town. Everything is only a 30 minute drive away.
If you're into theatre, especially high quality theatre that attracts patrons from all around the world, head over to the renowned Stratford Festival. The drive is only 40 minutes, and if you take the backroads, it's quite a beautiful too. https://www.stratfordfestival.ca/WhatsOn/ThePlays

I really enjoy heading over to Elora to check out all the small shops shops, grab a meal at a local cafe and enjoy the view of the damn. Elora is a great day trip, afternoon trip or an evening trip too.

If you're here, you absoutely must check out the St. Jacobs Farmers Market. We often head over there for our fresh produce, hummus, meats, fish, one of a kind gifts, etc. You name it!

I couldn't give you a list of recommendations without plugging my favourite spot in Guelph. The Handmade Den hosts over 60 artisans from around Ontario, including a few curated by David and myself. Defiatly check out this gem in Guelph. While you're there, downtown Guelph is a great city to walk around. Check out their parks, excellent eateries and other awesome shops too.
