TRIANGLE DISTRICT - 10 minute walk

TheTriangle District is a hub of newer residential properties, shops and restaurants. A flurry of pop up events happen throughout the year including farmers and makers markets, outdoor dining experiences, food trucks, live music and more. The neighborhood is creatively balancing the historical significance of the past with the recently opened craft brewery, flotation therapy center and kombucha taproom of the present.
Fantastic Soul Food! Owned by Kevin Johnson, former NBA player and Sacramento Mayor. Drink the Kool-Aid if you go. Nice bar and patio.

Arts & Culture

The Guild Theater is the only remaining theater of the numerous early 20th century motion picture houses for which Oak Park was once known. Designed and financed by Joseph Lewis and completed in 1915, it was the largest of three theaters on 35th Street in Oak Park at that time. Originally called the Victor Theater, the building’s structure reflected the influence of the Moorish Revival on theaters of that era.
