A great place to take the kids to, to burn off some energy! Soft play for little ones. and play and climbing/sliding equipment for the under 12's, with sofas, tables and chairs for parents to enjoy the free newspapers, coffee and snacks. They also cater for very reasonable lunches and treats, and are available for parties if booked in advance.

Our local cinemas are a short bus ride, or walk along the prom (about half an hour from flat to Bournemouth centre) on Westover Road.

A quaint part of Dorset, Swanage is a lovely town with great boutiques, quirky shops, old fashioned Pubs, traditional fish and chip shops, souvenir shops, a great little Pier, Railway, several play parks, beachfront amusement arcades, something for everyone. Why not take the Ferry from Sandbanks over to Studland (in the car, by bus or on foot/bicycle) so you can enjoy the journey AND the destination.

Why not take the Ferry from Sandbanks over to Studland (in the car, by bus or on foot/bicycle) so you can enjoy the journey AND the destination.
With bars, cafe's, amusements, gift shops and sights, you can't come to Bournemouth without checking out the Pier!

Parks & Nature
Not 100% that it is a ;National Park'.....the website states it is a 'joint venture between East Dorset District Council and the Forestry Commission....
Whatever it is :) it's a great day out for all the family! There is a woodland play trail for the kids to make their way around (accompanied by parents I'd suggest as it's quite a long trail!) stopping at each point to play on a different Tree built activity.
There is a great little Café and Restaurant (although we usually take our own packed lunches...children's meals tend to be about £6 and adults £10 +
There is a souvenir shop, a train ride around the park, plus 'pay for' activities such as 'Go Ape!' Tree Top climbing, high ropes, orienteering, cycling and cycle hire, guided walks, multi sport activity days, golf, conservation volunteering, fitness buggy workouts, segways hire....something for everyone!!
Some of these activities may require booking in advance or only be available on certain days....
