Wekiva Island

Driving is still allowed on a portion of the beach, so it makes going to the beach easy. There is a fee to drive on the beach.

Cape Canaveral has lots to see and experience. Playa Linda beach is one of the most pristine beaches left in Florida.  There is no driving on the beach here, it has big beautiful dunes that are a bit of a hike... I recommend to limit how much beach gear you take care.
If you’re a beach bum like me it’s worth the effort once you climb up over the dunes you’ll see the beautiful ocean down below. It tends to be less crowded than the other beaches.

Cape Canaveral
Cape Canaveral has lots to see and experience. Playa Linda beach is one of the most pristine beaches left in Florida.  There is no driving on the beach here, it has big beautiful dunes that are a bit of a hike... I recommend to limit how much beach gear you take care.

You can even scuba dive down into the spring here, there’s lots of interesting freshwater fish and creatures.

Awesome historical site! Nice museum. It’s quite a hike up to the top but the views are amazing and great photo opportunities. The beach next door is dog friendly!!

It’s just a hop skip and a jump to the train station. If you want to go downtown it’s a great way to beat the horrible traffic on the interstate! Keep in mind it doesn’t run late into the evenings and on weekends check the schedule before you make a commitment to traveling via train. Great for going downtown Orlando on weekdays.
