The best place to try the local favourite and at very reasonable prices! Go and try Schäufele and trust me you will not be disappointed! Schweinebraten and Schnitzel are also done very well here!

Seriously THE place to go and chill out with a beer on a warm summers evening. Situated at the foot of the castle this place has no seating but everyone finds a comfy spot on the street outside and relaxes with a few beers!!

A lovely lesser known town reachable from Nürnberg via U-Bahn or S-Bahn. Lots of lovely restaurants, cafes and old buildings to see. During December they also have a lovely Middle Age Christmas Market that we personally find much nicer than Nürnbergs!
Also can highly recommend Gustavstrasse which has lots of lovely restaurants and Bars to enjoy!

Also can highly recommend Gustavstrasse which has lots of lovely restaurants and Bars to enjoy!

Great little park less than 5 Minute walk from the apartment! Grab some food and beers and head down to join the locals :) Head round to wöhrder See too for a lovely relaxing lake!

An incredibly well presented documentary of the history of the third reich, hitlers rise to power and the attrocities of the third reich. All set in what were the former party headquarters. Seriously plan with at least 2 - 3 hours in the museum, the entry is around 5 Euros and the audio guide is excellent and in lots of different languages. Would also recommend you spend some time afterwards to walk around the Dutzendeich and Zepplinfeld to see all of the locations where the party rallies took place for example.

The underground, trams and busses are one of the easiest ways to get around. TagesTicket Plus at Price level A (Nürnberg,Fürth,Stein) for €12,30 to get unlimited travel for up to 6 persons (max 2 of them 18 years of age or older) in the whole of Nürnberg (and out to Fürth if needed!)
