Poppit is a large Sandy beach. It has a large car park, toilets and a superb cafe serving beautiful homemade snacks, lunches, cakes and ice creams.
Many is a small sandy beach, with a large car park, cafe and toilets during high season. It is accessed via lots of steps but is worth the climb down ! It’s a fab place to spot the dolphins at sunset. Mwnt is also home to a beautiful 14th century church, which is open to visitors.

The beaches at Aberporth have been awarded the European Blue Flag status and provide the perfect location for sunbathers, swimmers and canoeists. Low tide also provides the opportunity for children to explore the rock pools !

Llangrannog beach is a family friendly stretch of sand, which has lifeguards over the summer months. As well as being ideal for all the usual beach activities and bathing, Llangrannog beach is popular for water sports including surfing. You can also go sailing here due to the fresh winds in the are and slipway.

Penbryn beach is one of Ceredigion’s favourite beaches and is managed and owned by National Trust. The beach is popular with families and you can make sandcastles or sunbathe here. If the beach seems familiar, that may because it was used as a location for the James Bond film “Die another Day”.

Tresaith beach is a great spot for families and the Blue Flag award reflects the range of facilities on offer. These include a shop, cafe, the ship inn pub and public toilets- all within a stones throw of the beach. There are also plenty of rock pools to explore at either end of the beach.
