Lots of walking tracks and several playground spaces for kids. In the summer you can use the BBQs there and rent pedal boats and kayaks.

Two man-made lakes in an old quarry site. One for jet ski enthusiasts and the other for swimming. Great place on a hot day. Also provides access to the Otukaikino Walking Track at the back.

Awesome if you're a mountain bike but cool for the rest of us too. You can ride the chair lift up to the top for spectacular views of the city and the Southern Alps.
