Harvest Table is an outstanding coffee shop in Dayton, Va. The owners are my friends and they do coffee the BEST with amazing homemade food and baked goods too. You'll find something to love on their menu, like my favorite - the coffee flights! Great place to gather at a table and make memories. Located 30 min. from the cabin.

Hiking
The Massanutten Ridge Trail is part of the network of trails on resort property. This hike starts at the overlook at the top of Del Webb Dr. in Massanutten Resort. The hike is extremely rocky, but offers beautiful views from an area above the ski lifts.

Sightseeing
Reddish Knob is one of my favourite places to go for a stunning view. It is one of the highest points on the Shenandoah Mountain and the view is stunning! This is something you drive up to, no hiking necessary although there are hiking trails in that area as well. It is about an hour and 15 minutes from Massanutten but worth the drive. You'll go through back country roads to get there and a pretty winding road on the way up the mountain. There are also spots there to make a campfire or bring a blanket and watch the sunset.

Reddish Knob
Reddish Knob is one of my favourite places to go for a stunning view. It is one of the highest points on the Shenandoah Mountain and the view is stunning! This is something you drive up to, no hiking necessary although there are hiking trails in that area as well. It is about an hour and 15 minutes from Massanutten but worth the drive. You'll go through back country roads to get there and a pretty winding road on the way up the mountain. There are also spots there to make a campfire or bring a blanket and watch the sunset.
This spot is just a short drive right up the mountain by turning on Delwebb Dr. and continuing to the top. Pretty view of all of Massanutten and hiking trails nearby!

Things to do on the farm include wine tasting, visiting the lavender shop, farm tours, seasonal "U-pick" opportunities, and visiting the Discovery Area. The Discovery Area offers interactive gardens, petting area, life-size checkerboard, duck pond, labyrinth, distillery, and a drying barn! The lavender farm offers a relaxing lavender experience and wonderful lavender products. They combine growing, harvesting, and processing lavender with a relaxing, interactive eco-friendly farm experience.

A bus will take you from Massanutten to the beautiful Shenandoah river and pick you up when you're all done. This is a great way to experience the lovely mountains and nature here in the Valley!

Professionally trained guides assist you during each activity, so no experience is necessary. When your feet have finally touched back to the ground below you, hike back to the Massanutten Peak where you are free to sit back, relax, and ride the scenic chairlift back to the base of the mountain.

Features include a rock, rainbow arches, shade structures, roadway, hammock swing, draw wall, pavilion, and family comfort stations that are fully accessible.
