Hands down my favorite spot for sunset. There's usually a Sax player, great drinks specials with swings and day beds right on the beach which are complimentary if you are eating or drinking. 4:30-6 pm is the perfect time for El Be.

Witch's Rock is an iconic surf spot in town. They have a great bar outside called El Vaquero that sits right on the beach. This is a fun spot where many locals hang out and have a beer along with my ex pats and tourists. It's my favorite spot to go after surfing for a beer.

152Witch's Rock is an iconic surf spot in town. They have a great bar outside called El Vaquero that sits right on the beach. This is a fun spot where many locals hang out and have a beer along with my ex pats and tourists. It's my favorite spot to go after surfing for a beer.
Food Scene
If you want to try a typical Costa Rica dish head to Wild Pandas and get a cosado for only $6. They also have awesome Sandia & Vodkas which is essentially a watermelon smoothie with vodka...very refreshing! Plus they're two for one.

If you want a good steak, head here, they are amazing! Make sure to get the baked cheese appetizer with a nice glass of red wine.

There's great surfing in Avellana's but also a really cool restaurant that sits right on the beach. Try their pizza and say hi to Lola, the biggest pig you'll ever see! There's a shuttle that goes down 3x per day. Go to Neptune's Surf Shop for tickets. Do not take scooters there as the roads are not good.

There's great surfing in Avellana's but also a really cool restaurant that sits right on the beach. Try their pizza and say hi to Lola, the biggest pig you'll ever see! There's a shuttle that goes down 3x per day. Go to Neptune's Surf Shop for tickets. Do not take scooters there as the roads are not good.
So far, this is my favorite spot for Gallo Pinto for breakfast. There's lots of indoor/outdoor seating and beautiful views!

Sightseeing
Mar Vista is about a 25 minute scooter North of Tamarindo and features a beautiful infinity pool set up in the mountains over looking the ocean. What else do you need hear?
They also have amazing passion fruit mojitos and yummy food but the view is to die for. Worth the trip up!
