Picturesque and teeming with birdlife, Lilydale Lake has extensive walking trails around the lake and surrounds and a boardwalk through wetlands. A massive adventure playground keeps the kids happy.

Picturesque and teeming with birdlife, Lilydale Lake has extensive walking trails around the lake and surrounds and a boardwalk through wetlands. A massive adventure playground keeps the kids happy.
Walk or bicycle: you can enjoy a short walk or as much as you like of the 40 km of shared trail winding through the beautiful, iconic Yarra Valley. Surface is fine gravel; the trail is a long-decommissioned rail line so very easy and level to walk or ride. Bike hire available in Lilydale. (And we have an access point just 5 minutes walk away at the bottom of our hill!)
