car rental, taxi, ferry boat, buses and Domestic flight

With relatively short travelling times between the islands and/or places of interest, different modes of transportation and with a regular network of air and sea transportation operating out of the principal island, Mahé, moving around in Seychelles is easy and hassle-free. Car rental is the best option to travel on Mahé if you are confortable driving on the left side and if you have children.

Vallée de Mai, Bazar La Brine, beautiful beaches, trail/walk

Not all of Seychelles’ beaches were created equally, every island has its signature shores, ranging from the liveliest to most secluded romantic coves protected from prevailing winds. Some stretch undeniably long, deserted and bordered with wild coconut trees others are picture-perfectly blessed small half-moon beaches with massive smooth boulders and navy-blue lagoons. Seychelles is also blessed with lush nature and exceptional biodiversity.

The Seychelles is great destination for family holidays, you can do activities such as a visit to the small capital, Victoria, located on Mahé, and is perfect for a half-day trip. At Beau Vallon beach and all around the island visitors can explore the underwater world of the Seychelles with a glass-bottomed boat, removing the need for snorkelling equipment, which is a great alternative for kids. In several of the Seychelles national parks, including the Vallée de Mai, children can discover the flora and fauna of the Seychelles.
