This is the perfect mix of everything you will need for a good days from specialty coffee serve in the sleepy bear coffee shop, to great food and brunches all week, and nice cocktail in a very quiet and nice terrace… love this place

You will love this location as it is nestle in a little terrace in the middle of the town amount vineyard and with an amazing view on the lake. They have a Hunting season menu for those who care and if the weather is nice fall is one of the most beautiful period to visit the Lauvaux as all the beautiful fall colors make the landscape scenery enchanting

All you need to know about local wine is there, from a little film projection about a full year in a life of a local wine maker to the possibility to sample local wine and small local food. It is always a nice spot to visit when going to the Lavaux region

A few hotel around have amazing restaurant, spa and view, here is a few of my favorite, either for an overnight stay, a diner or just a spa treat.
Most probably one of the most beautiful view of the riviera from their Bar with a infinity edge fountain falling into the lake the Baron de Tavernier as more to offer with an super SPA center and a great restaurant. Indulge if you can afford it as it is a must stop in the region.

M1 and M2, bus, CGN and of course Swiss pass
Get to the train station for a Swiss pass, which will give you a great alternative to travel anywhere as it will give you free access to train, boats, buses and metro. If you are just staying around town you can take a mobility pass from the Flon metro station (M1 and M2 only cross station ) and ask all alternative to getting around town (Flon metro station in one station away from the train station taking the M2 metro ligne direction « Croisette ». The app for all transportation in Lausanne is called TL (meaning transport Lausanne)

Lavaux, Vineyard Terraces
Part of the UNESCO world heritage they are some of the most unusual vineyard you will ever come across and are worth the day trip. Thé are located a few minutes from Lausanne going towards Vevey and stretch about 30km all the way to Chillon castle. The vineyard offer many path and trail you can walk or bike around from one place to another. My favorite view are from the town of Epesse to Saint Saphorin.
