Best quintessential London local in SE1! Lovely bar staff, great range of beers and a good menu. Beautiful etched glass windows, shiny brass, real fires & lots of memorabilia relating to it's past.

Lovely safe park with play equipment for Primary aged children, drinking fountain, plenty of seating, a picnic table & lovely landscaping. Wall plaques by a well known local artist. No dogs allowed.

Superb gym, if you're into gyms which I'm not particularly but I go to this one to keep away the bingo wings. Lovely changing rooms. Fantastic trainers, ask for Rob, he's inspirational!

Went there for the first time with an airbnb guest and it was fantastic! Great atmosphere, really, really friendly staff & delicious food. Have been back several times since. Love it!

Beautiful local church with amazing ceiling. Little Dorrit a Charles Dicken's character was married there. Her image is on one of the stained glass windows inside.

Visiting the Tower is pretty high up on my list of recommendations. A great way to spend an afternoon but allow at least three hours if possible to see everything. Easy to walk to from here.
