Sightseeing
Robert Moses is a beautiful beach just 11.8 miles south of our house. It overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and there are a few different fields to choose from but if you park at field 5 you can take a quick stroll down the boardwalk over to the fire island lighthouse.

We know Texax Roadhouse is pretty well known but the one we know is walking distance to our property. So if you want to have a drink or two no need to worry about driving. Texas Roadhouse is generally open from 3pm til 10pm.

Though there are plenty of vineyards on the east end of Long Island, Del Vino is the closest to our location and only about 15 miles away in Northport, NY. Just be sure to make a reservation ahead of time, even during the week they tend to book up fast.
