Since almost twenty years this place keeps the same great quality. The food and the service are fantastic, for this reason, it is busy most of the time. Better reserve a table(close to sea shore) in advance, specially in high season.The food is just delicious. Try the seafood dishes, since they get fresh fish delivered every day.
The set up close to the water also is absolutely special. Always a true pleasure!!.

Panaderia Cabuya Cafeteria
About five miles and almost on the tip of the peninsular lies Cabuya, a small fishing
village with some smaller hotels and restaurants. The most travelers drive through to get to the “Cabo Blanco National Reserve”. There on the second crossroad on the left is a small restaurant with the name “Panadería café”. They not only sell bread and cakes, actually they serve incredible dishes. Everything comes in a good size so you can be sure not getting home hungry. The place is rustic, clean with a nice garden. Most locals go there frequently. Great place great food.

Parks & Nature
Deep in the woods hidden from the town there is an inviting waterfall, the sound of which echoes from the sides of the walls of the canyon. The color of water changes with the season, and during high season it can get fairly crowded since it is one of the main attractions. It is best to go before 9am or after 3pm. There is another steep trail facing the main waterfall that goes up to Delicias Falls. Take safety precautions and use good hiking shoes. Do not climb the face of the main waterfall to reach the upper falls.

At the very end of Playa Cocalito (a 2.5 hour walk from Montezuma), a beautiful 30-foot waterfall drops into the ocean. There is a road that brings you close to this fall from Cobano towards Paquera. The entrance road is at Tango Mar Resort. Either way, walking or horseback riding along the beaches are blessings in themselves. Due to the long distance, you will be mostly alone. Once in a while, you will see boats in the ocean rushing towards Tortuga Island or people on horses on a tour to this waterfall. For those who love quietness and nature, it is a must to explore the area further with its lagoon and beaches. Give yourself a pleasant cool shower under this waterfall!

It is a caress to the skin as well as a source of minerals. Explore the secrets of nature while having a fun time!

Its size and the big trees surrounding it are the hosts of a quite variety of birds, who come to nest and sleep there. In the morning between 6 and 8am and in evening around 5 and 6pm a lot of birds could be seen.

Rio Lajas close to Cabuya is the river with the biggest pools in the area. This river is about 4.5 miles from Montezuma crossing a bigger steel bridge. Its size and the big trees surrounding it are the hosts of a quite variety of birds, who come to nest and sleep there. In the morning between 6 and 8am and in evening around 5 and 6pm a lot of birds could be seen.
