Cornbread Cafe serves vegan comfort food and is a Eugene staple. Their vegan chicken strips taste just like, well, chicken of course! When I first gave this to Alex he didn't realize it was vegan until I told him. Plus their desert pies are AMAZING. :)

This small Vietnamese cafe doubles as an asian market. Their pho is as good as quite good. Not your typical pho restaurant. But nonetheless their beef noodle soup tastes about as homemade as homemade can get. Out of everything though, we recommend the Chinese style roasted pork belly. Meat on fat on crunchy skin. Is it healthy? Absolutely not. Is it good? Ummm, yes.

Saturday and Sunday they serve up some great pasole! If you're into soup this place is highly recommended.

It's all about the breakfast burritos. Breakfast burritos are served mornings only. Mon-Fri until 11am. Sat-Sun until 12pm. The Juevos Ranchero burrito includes pork green chile, rice, beans, and 2 fried eggs. Once the yolk bursts all over the toppings, it's over. If you miss breakfast you can't go wrong with their Chile Relleno Boy Burrito or their Chile Verde Burrito (spicy). Their Green and Habanero (spicy) salsas are excellent.

This French restaurant is one of our favorites. You really can't go wrong with anything on their seasonal menu. Highly recommended. May want to make a reservation on busier nights.

The food is good and their happy hour menu starts at 9pm. We often eat here when we end up having to eat late.

This is a great place to grab and espresso and finish up that novel you've been working on. This is more of a grungy/divey coffee shop with the occasional live band and dim lighting. Good coffee and free wifi, plus it's close.
