If you have a bit of time on your hands why not take a trip out to the Eungai Creek Buffalo Farm Cafe. Great food mostly based on buffalo meat and dairy. We always enjoy their pizzas, milkshakes, ice cream and cheese. Be careful and take your time on the drive, part of the road is dirt and it can be windy.

Kinloch Quality Meats. We are lucky to have the butcher next door so you’ll always have meat for your bbq. They are supplied from their family farm. They have great meat. Don’t hesitate to ask for anything you want. Their meat is so good we always ask for some to be vacuum packed to take home after a visit to Scotts Head. During the week and weekends outside holidays they can close by midday so get in early.

As you may have guessed this is a small beach. Little Beach is often more frequented by surfers and can be rougher. It is usually not patrolled by lifeguards so we recommend only swimming here if you are a strong swimmer.

If you want to sound like a local just call it “Main Beach”. At 11km long you can easily find some space for yourself. The Surf Club looks out over the beach and is patrolled during holidays and weekends.
