Great place for short and long hikes. While there, be sure to stop at the overlook or hike out to the historical Henry Clay Iron furnace. This is also a great place for picnics.

WVU Core Arboretum is a fantastic place for short peaceful hikes tucked away in the heart of Morgantown. Definitely worth a visit in April when all of the wildflowers are in bloom.
