The most famous beach of the island, hence the most touristic one. Worthy of its fame, with crystal clear and clean water. On the left side there are bars umbrellas and sunbeds that cost around 8 €. In the center there are parts of the beach that are not organised, there are also a lot of nudists. The right part, near the hill is the most family friendly part

Agios Prokopios

A small isolated beach near the north part of the island.
When there is north wind there are a lot of waves and i wouldn't recommend visiting, however the days that there is south wind or no wind the beach turns into one of the most beautiful places of the island. The sunset there is absolutely stuning!

One of my favorite places of the island. Plaka is a beach, where you can find many restaurants, coffee places, bars, pool cafes and hotels with a pool by the beach where you can buy a drink and use their outdoor facilities (pool, yard, sunbeds and umbrellas)!

One of my favorite places of the island. Plaka is a beach, where you can find many restaurants, coffee places, bars, pool cafes and hotels with a pool by the beach where you can buy a drink and use their outdoor facilities (pool, yard, sunbeds and umbrellas)!

The huge ancient door known as Portara, is believed to be the entrance of an ancient temple of God Apollo, built in the 6th century A.C. The entrance is always open and free. It is a nice place to watch the sunset!

Food Scene
Amazing, pure, traditional food, just 1 minute walking from the house! I recomend grilled ribs or steaks accompanied with Greek Salad and their family wine.

Great seafood! You have to try the Gouna. A traditional dish of sun-cooked fish accompanied with Ouzo. A bit expensive, as it is on the most famous part of the island, the street of the port.
