Open outdoor mall with tons of shops, movie theaters, and even a farmers market! Ride the trolly to get from one side of the center to other, or visit during the Holidays and get a dose of Christmas spirit with their fake snow, giant Christmas tree, and Santa's house.

Arts & Culture
The Getty Villa is not the same as the Getty Museum, but instead a smaller more quaint museum built where Getty once lived. The grounds are just gorgeous and the drive up PCH to get there is lovely. Stop to take in the ocean view if you get a chance.

Beautiful museum with variety of exhibits and gorgeous gardens. You will have to park your car and take a shuttle up so make sure to make a reservation/plan ahead of time.

LACMA and the Tar Pits are one of the favorite places to visit in Los Angeles! Located in Miracle Mile, its not too far from the house, and generally the parking is plentiful. Make sure to check the schedule before you go so you are prepared for what their current exhibits/schedule is like.

Parks & Nature
Runyon is a popular hike for locals, and their canine friends. There are great views from the top! The parking can get a bit crazy, so I generally run there from the house. It's about 1.5 miles away, and then the loop around Runyon is about 3 miles. (So be prepared for a 6 mile jaunt if you go from the house, and bring your wallet/phone so you can stop along Hollywood Blvd on your way back!)
