Amtrak Coast Starlight trains. I can arrange to pick you up with advanced notice. Trains from Portland arrive near 10 PM, and from California arrive near 8 AM. Pick-up/departure point for connecting bus to Jackson County and points west/south.

The nicest resort area in town, golf (not cheap), Indian restaurant, hotel, conference center, spa. If you're into that sort of thing, this is it.

A good pizza place with a bar, beer on tap, sports on TV, and outdoor seating. One of my guests, a craft brewery aficionado, highly recommended this place as a fun experience.
