Love the Karaoki nights, usually some teen playing old hippie music, gotta stop and see. Also seen some pros like Sal Belloise, and other times some old timers who you know were great in their day.

I like Palm Pavillion because it is just a two block stumble from Cottages of Clearwater. Best to go at sunset as the Local's are all their partying with music. Great gulfside view and original bathhouse in Florida. Same family runs it. It in real authentic beach experience.

Best new restuarant, and Capt.Al has been to them all. Great ambiance, food, and ok prices. Go at sunset and enjoy the nightlights of the city, boats comming and going. Great seafood and very well managed. Great fish, not only mexican food. Suggest you walk there as parking is a hassle.

Parks & Nature
After 35 years of boat and jet ski travel around Florida, I would say this is the most beautiful pass in the state. It is where I take my guests when we go out on the boat. You also can drive to Honeymoon island and take a ferry.

The best part for me is the ride down along Gulf Blvd , usually on my BMW motorcycle, but you will enjoy passing through all the sleepy beach towns. The Fort itself is worth the visit, the beaches are great , but you got the best beach just down the street. Top off your day with a stroll through downtown St Pete at the water front. Also stop by Johns Pass when your return if you still have energy

Best bang for the buck and stops when you flag them or walk to the speedway gas station. My parents used to take the ride all the way to St Pete and get off in different beach towns.
