If you want to shop, I advice Cscais shopping.
For local vegetables, herbs, fruit please go to one of the markets the farmers sell they what they grow, it smells terrific and it's fresh.

Cascais - Largo Camões is a place where you can sit outside and have a drink and dinner in one of the many restaurants. It is a bit touristy. If you don't like that walk to Old Cascais and choose a place where there are also locals.
In LIsbon you can have dinner and listen to Fado, there are several fado houses:
Sr. Vinho (Fado restaurante) is well known and expensive.

Sintra is beautifull. On a warm summer day, it is great to visit Sintra , the village and the Castle on the top, it is a oasis of greens.
