As mentioned before, I am a coffee and tea lover. If you are like me, and love to check out great coffee shops [other than Starbucks] this is the place to go. They use Illy coffee and espresso beans; one of my faves! The interior has a rustic but chic decor, and they have a great selection of crepes, ice cream, and other foods/desserts. This is a great place to meet with friends, read a book, or just enjoy some coffee and dessert.

This place is adorable and within walking distance from the house. I actually highly recommend taking a walk here because you will definitely need to walk off the ice cream you must try from here. The best part about this spot is that it is also a 1950's style general convenience store.

This is where I like to go for sushi in the area. The quality and presentation is always on point. In addition, they give you onion soup and a small tempura appetizer for free with every order.

If you're eating clean this is the place to go! Love Whole Foods is like a mini Whole Foods but with a very neighborly vibe. The staff here is very helpful and accommodating. This is a health food store, vitamin shop, and juice bar.

If you have a nail emergency, or just feel like getting a pedi, come to Emerald Spa. There are a lot of great nail places in the area but I prefer this one; its close to the house and very clean and trendy. (Its also right next door to the wine shop, so you might just want to stop in there as well).

This is one of the prettiest beaches in the area! Put this one on your to do list. This spot is not only beautiful, it is great for surfing and fishing. There is an awesome jet ski rental place nearby if you're up for it!
