Irun and Hondarribia (formerly Hondarribia) face Hendaye on the other side of the Bidassoa.
Hondarribia: Nothing could be simpler to go during your tourist stay in the Basque Country. Just take the shuttle boat that leaves Hendaye marina (departure every 30 minutes from 10:00 to 19:00, in July and August, every 15 minutes, until 1:00 am!).
Upon disembarking, you can stroll through the Navy district, which aligns its cobbled streets with flower terraces and small fishermen's houses, typical, whitewashed and painted bright colors.
From there, you will reach the old city hidden behind its ramparts.

Cliffs and rocky plateaus
From Itzurun Beach to Zumaia to Deba, rise above the sea formations of vertical strata that create a magical and incomparable landscape. When the tide moves away from the foot of the cliff, a large abrasion platform appears, witnessing the endless erosion of the sea, full of a thousand forms of life. Between these flyschs is a pretty corner, with little sand and full of rocks that the sea invades when the tide rises. It is more distant, more withdrawn and less known than the previous beaches of Algorri or Aitzgorri. Just to see it, to contemplate it, to admire it, this pretty spot is worth a detour, especially in summer when the sun sets on the horizon of Cap Matxit
