This place is amazing. An old building right on the Brisbane river with the most amazing view of the city at night. The club is run by volunteers - so prices are reasonable. Meals are huge. If you like jazz - this is the place. It closes early around 10.30.

A day visit to Moreton is certainly worthwhile especially in summer. This is a great place to participate in some adventure sports - snorkelling around the wrecks or sand boarding down dunes. You can feed the dolphins. Check out day trips to Moreton Island

The tourist information centre is located in the middle of the mall - which also offers free walking tours around the city. On Friday afternoons from 5 pm there is a variety of free music to listen to and the shops are opened till later hours.
