If you are looking for something a little more fancy, try the Varuna Restaurant in the Taj Gateway Hotel for dinner. Also, they have a brunch every Sunday, which is a deal. Price includes unlimited buffet and champagne or beer.

Sarnath is where Lord Buddha gave his first sermons and is filled with archeological importance and temple. Definitely not to miss.

It's a must to experience the Ghats of Varanasi. You will always see something different each time you take a trip there. Be there for sunrise and sunset ceremonies and everything in between.

This is only a 2 minute walk from our property. You can check out a Bollywood movie, do some clothes and shoe shopping, or get groceries. The Homemakers grocery store on the top floor has all essentials if you need to stock up. Even specialty items difficult to find in road-side shops.

There is always a different show being presented at the gallery. The owners are very welcoming and informative and eager to teach you something new about the city. If you are lucky, you can check out the show openings, which is a special treat for the locals.
