Edible Ornamentals began selling chilli pepper plants in 2001. The plants, and later pickles and sauces, gained very favorable attention. Known for its 'Pick Your Own' chilli tunnel which is open to the public, the nursery has become the destination of choice for European hot pepper enthusiasts. In addition to fresh retail and wholesale chillies we also produce a selection of gourmet sauces, spice rubs, dried, smoked, frozen, and pickled chillies processed onsite in a 5 'Stars On The Doors' production kitchen. Woburn Abbey has been the home of the Earls and Dukes of Bedford for nearly 400 years and is now home to the 15th Duke and his family. Alongside the world class collection of art, the house contains the fascinating stories of the people who have shaped the history of both the Abbey and the nation; including the ‘creation ‘ of Afternoon Tea. The Gardens, with a twenty year restoration programme, are of equal splendour with 28 acres of Repton designs to be explored and discovered.Throughout the year Woburn also hosts a series of events including: classic cars rallies, The Woburn Abbey Garden Show, summer theatre, the country fair, vintage airplane rally and autumn deer walks.

Ideal place for a pleasant walk - the river bank is lovely and well-looked after and there are flotillas of swans and other water birds frequenting this stretch of the river all year round. Good place for a picnic or combining with a perfect lunch at De Parys Restaurant

At £32 for a family ticket you get to see eagles, falcons, owls all in flight, even a stork on the wing. Children can see shire horses up close along with ponies, friendly goats and numerous avaries with birds of prey. The demonstration staff are knowledgeable and friendly. A sizeable cafe which is reasonably priced means you can spend a whole day there to entertain the children.
