This is a good restaurant where you could enjoy good local cuisines or pasta dishes and a beer and watch sports on the big TV screen. It is also next door to the pizza place and the yummy Italian gelateria!

This big supermarket chain has most of the conveniences that you'd miss from home. If not, there is also the local supermarket next door in Berard Plaza with a bakery next to it.

The best Mexican all around! We enjoyed their chicken quesadillas and the enchiladas.

This is a lovely spot to have the best pizza in town in a beautiful setting where the two rivers meet. Their pepperoni pizza is yummy and the price is right! :D

Sightseeing
This a Swedish owned coffee farm boats their finest coffee in the world "Geisha" brand. They also offer a coffee tour of their beautiful natural plantation as well as other adventure tours, i.e., horseback riding, kayaking, finishing... It is definitely worth a visit for a cup of their finest if you enjoy coffee.

It is definitely worth a visit for a cup of their finest if you enjoy coffee.
This is a spectacular canyon and waterfall and swim hole about 10 minutes from our place in the little county called Cuesta de Piedra. It is a bit of a descend down to the canyon on rocks but totally worth it. We enjoy swimming in the dry season when there is no flush flood. Wear good shoes!

This is a spectacular canyon and waterfall and swim hole about 10 minutes from our place in the little county called Cuesta de Piedra. It is a bit of a descend down to the canyon on rocks but totally worth it. We enjoy swimming in the dry season when there is no flush flood. Wear good shoes!
Parks & Nature
It is a beautiful park to hike and try to see the most beautiful Quetzale birds but be prepared to hike at least one hour to the park entrance. ;) You could choose to do a mini hike to the Quetzale view point and return (3 hours total) or all the way to Boquete (5 hours one way). Well maintained trail!

This is a public big outdoor swimming pool where the water is from the river. Great place to cool down after a hot day in Bugaba/David!

Local souvenir art shop with carved wooden paintings of local animals. We have these wooden paintings in and outside of our casa!
It is also next door to a restaurant called "Tasty Vlcan Baru". It looks nice but we haven't tried it yet.
This place is only 10 minutes north from us on the main road on the way to Volcan. Worth a stop.
