Sharon and Chris were wonderful hosts and we had a beautiful and peaceful stay. The place was clean, warm and cozy, it became a home away from home, with beautiful views and well equipped amenities. The hospitality that our family received from Sharon and Chris was above and beyond our expectations, we felt welcomed and well attended to, and appreciated the handy info on local spots to see. My husband enjoyed his morning walk right from the front door and my two and a half year old son loved getting to know Kamal. We loved our stay and hope to be back there one day.

Amazing, breathtaking view. Best place for me and bridesmaids before went to my wedding at Don Rowland. The only downfall is that the dam was closed at the time, it would have been a 5 minute drive but had to go right around via motorway (20 min) but the house itself was well worth it! Had everything we needed and more!!! I would consider going again just for a normal weekend. The hosts were accommodating in every way, we had access to kayaks, best coffee machine, comfy couches and beds, clean showers, a nice bbq, beautiful flowers, awesome neighbours, parking for about 3 cars and extra blankets and towels. 10/10 from us!

The property is gorgeous & very well located for a trip to hobbiton! Mary and her family are the best! I would highly recommend opting for the home cooked meal for a wonderful meal made with fresh ingredients from the farm! We look forward to coming back!

This is my second stay here because I loved my first visit so much. The house is beautiful, accommodating and perfect for visiting Cambridge. Every little detail has been considered. Bedding is gorgeous and you’ll sleep well in comfortable beds. The gardens are a great place to relax after a busy day sightseeing. Easy walk to town and Saturday markets. Yes I will stay again.

The place felt like a beautiful home and was very comfortable with good beds and a great kitchen! Nice and private and set amongst the trees. Lovely big garden with plenty of sunny outdoor seating areas and very well fenced for our little dog. We'd recommend!

Stayed for 18 nights, Fantastic place to stay short or long term. Personally my long term stay was perfect. They gave me a off street car park for my work UTE, it has its own access to the unit/room so you can come and go as you please. little kitchenet for cooking, a very big bathroom and a open plan living area. WIFI was super fast and a nice heat pump for heating or cooling. The area was definitely in more of a up market area which makes it feel very safe. It was only a 10min walk to a big Westfield mall or 2 mins by car. Would 100 percent stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage with our two kids. The place was peaceful, clean, and incredibly well-maintained. Our children had a fantastic time playing at the tennis courts and running around the spacious, safe compound—it was a perfect chance for them to disconnect from screens and enjoy the outdoors. The house itself was spotless and very comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. We especially appreciated the variety of board games available, which made for great family bonding time. It’s a perfect spot for families looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway. Highly recommended!

Beautiful location. Quiet and peaceful meant a great night sleep. The loft was spotlessly clean and had everything I needed. Hosts were friendly and helpful. The only very slight negative was the driveway was a bit hard to find - but that was google maps fault. I talked to Liz about this and she now has a new link to help people find it. Highly recommend staying here.
