Our house sits at the bottom of a secret track in a private, historical cove on the beautiful Hebridean island of Lismore. Secluded, quiet and peaceful, Port Moluag is within easy reach of the Scottish mainland whilst feeling totally removed from the pace and noise of city life. The house is newly-built using eco technologies to limit its environmental impact and is surrounded by wonderful wildlife such as seals, otters, and a multitude of birds as well as many sites of historical interest.

Tarbet Lodge is set back from the road in very quiet and peaceful surroundings where you often see wildlife including deer, otter, eagles and many other species of birds and marine. Downstairs is open plan with a woodburning stove an a dining area, sitting area for watching the bay and stars at night and comfy seating around the fire. Bracken Barn is situated on a hill overlooking Cuil Bay and Loch Linnhe, with views stretching down the Morvern Peninsula, past the small islands of Balnagowan, Shuna and Lismore…and all the way to the Isle of Mull. Recently converted from an agricultural shed, it is now an extremely comfortable holiday home – a silk purse from a sow’s ear! The high-ceilinged sitting room has a wood-burning stove and with large picture windows, guests will surely never tire of the ever-changing loch views.

It is only a 5 minute walk to the local shops and a 10 minute walk to 3 lovely restaurants and a cosy pub.
