You get the whole place to yourselves. All within easy reach of Ganges Village and local beaches and lakes. Your own private sanctuary, with indoor-outdoor living. And new modern appliances: range, fridge, washer-dryer, and a well-equipped kitchen. Some breakfast basics and fixings are also included.

Our place is close to public transport, parks, the beach, great restaurant, grocery store, other shops and coffee shop.. You’ll love our place because of the great SSI neighbourhood, the comfy bed, the cosiness, proximity to the ocean, lovely gardens and flowers, friendly hosts and a nice continental breakie and snacks. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and furry friends (pets). We have a friendly dog and cat on the property.

Rustic, artsy, comfortable: set on a beautiful wooded acreage near a stream, this private two-bedroom cabin and studio is located mid-island, just a 10-minute walk to the lake or 5-minute drive to the beach. Simple breakfast items contained in fridge. Two queen beds, sofa-bed, microwave, bathroom with shower, separate toilet room and large deck/patio with BBQ, overlooking the forest. Top-quality linens; tea, coffee, etc; wifi; lots of parking; keypad entry.

Sitting on the covered deck, enjoy your morning coffee or tea while listening to a variety of bird song, squirrel chatter and observing deer, who wander freely. Relax and rejuvenate in the peacefulness of the forest, take a nap in the hammock, hike the numerous trails, explore a variety of beaches or go for a refreshing swim in the neighbourhood lakes.

Wheelhouse Suite on Salt Spring Island

Stay in our private suite across the road from a lake on beautiful Salt Spring Island. You will have your own patio and barbecue with chairs to relax with a coffee or a glass of wine. Lakeside walks are just down the road. Forest walks and ocean beaches are only a short drive. The village of Ganges is an 8 minute drive away. Pets welcome by request only. Additional cleaning fee of $50 for pets.

Hidden Retreat

The cottage is approximately 2km from Beaver Pt Hall, 5km from Ruckle Provincial Park, 10 minutes to Fulford Harbour, and 20 minutes to Ganges. We are within walking distance to several beach accesses, Canada Conservancy forest, and a beautiful First Nations Reserve. The beaches are launch points for nearby Russell and Portland Islands in the Gulf Island National Marine Parks.
