The Happy Red Cabin

I'm a small cabin located in a wonderful setting with other houses on gravel roads. My owners put their hearts and souls into my creation. I have 2 BR's & BR's, great room, kitchen, W/D, 2 porches, patio and a fire pit. Located 2.5 miles from Saluda, NC - a delightful small WNC town. I'm up the hill from a small private lake *as of summer '25 - lake temporarily drained for long term repairs* NO WI-FI, weak cell. Guest pass for lake property provided. NO PETS or SMOKING - strict policy.

From the Hart Farm: Pisgah Room (Room #1 of 2)

My farm is 8 miles from Brevard and a 45 min. drive to downtown Asheville. I am nestled between Pisgah National Forest and Dupont State Forest, which means unlimited hiking, waterfalls, swimming, kayaking and fishing. Cyclers will enjoy being on one of the many routes, while mountain bikers can enjoy forest trails and challenge themselves to the Oskar Blues Reeb Ranch. Equestrian folks can avail themselves to our local horse boarders and ride in both forests. There is something for everyone!

Our cozy cottage is just steps from Judds Peak and 2 miles from downtown, where there is always food and fun! The Gorge Zipline is located in our quaint little town and the Green River has hiking, tubing, kayaking, white water rafting, rock climbing! The towns of Hendersonville, Flat Rock and Asheville are just minutes away.

The RhodoDen

As its name suggests, The RhodoDen is a cozy 1974 Airstream Argosy nestled among the rhododendron of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Set along a trickling creek with a bonfire ring and a view of nearby Watch Knob, this is "glamping" at its finest. RhodoDen provides an idyllic place to relax, and is a great basecamp for hiking adventures, dining and nightlife in Asheville and Black Mountain, both of which are only 15 minutes away. Plus we are pet friendly! Update 3/24: We built a roof!

Located in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains of North Carolina, you will enjoy the local sounds and sights of nature but with easy interstate access to Hendersonville and Asheville areas. Cozy up in our newly renovated 1940’s creek side cabin. The back yard over looks Pisgah National Forest! Hike from the neighborhood trail into Pisgah, or drive 4 miles to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Cottage at end of private road. Pretty place to walk and enjoy the outdoors. Several hosting vineyards, hiking and kayaking nearby. Convenient to nearby towns of Tryon, Landrum, Columbus and 15 minutes to the Tryon International Equestrian Center and other eventing venues. Less than an hour to Asheville, Greenville, Spartanburg, BMW Plant, and 3 major airports. A great gateway to western Carolinas. Sofa bed and loft add to sleeping space for families.
