Huisjes in San Carlos

This beautiful modern home is situated in a secluded location about 30 minutes from Monteverde Reserve. The host was very flexible with check in and very responsive with questions. The kitchen is equipped with all types of cooking utensils and the host provided breakfast items like eggs, milk, cereal, and coffee, as well as some snacks, fruit, and a bottle of champagne. The place was very luxurious compared to most cabins and lodges located in town where the rooms are basic and A/C is not available. It was nice to return to a comfortable, clean place to take a shower/bath and wind down after a day full of outdoor activities.

Tranquille, entre 30 et 50 min des activités (Arenal, eaux chaudes, tours de paresseux, nuits, etc.). Lespace exterieur faisait notre bonheur de jour comme de soir, bien à l'abri de la pluie. Jorge, le voisin qui s'occupait de nous (principale communication, questions au jour le jour, où/quand/comment acheter des fruits) était génial. Il ne communique qu'en espagnole, il est très généreux. La maison est grande et les lits sont confortables. L'air climatisée fonctionnait dans les chambres. La cuisine dehors était vraiment appréciée. Bien que nous ne pouvions pas l'utiliser la moitié du temps que nous y étions, la piscine était bien, le sauna ne fonctionnait pas pendant notre séjour. Un coq et plusieurs poules venaient sur notre terrain au plaisir des enfants.

Honestly the best AIRBNB I've ever stayed at. It was incredible. The morning view over the pool to the comfortable amenities in the house... everything was perfect. The pictures don't do this home justice. Although it's a little secluded from the big city, I personally enjoyed the privacy of it. It's about 45 mins from this place to La Fortuna. Carlos was very responsive and helpful through the whole process. I'll definitely have this spot pinned for the future.

Wonderful place with the outstanding views ! Clean, well organized, quiet, fully equipped house. Located on the top of the hill , which opens fantastic panorama of the mountains and the outskirts of the town! We enjoyed every morning birds chirping and even saw toucans ! The neighbors very welcoming and sweet, Patricio extremely responsive and friendly! Great get away place (you might want to stay longer than a weekend) plan accordingly 🤗 I want to thank Patricio and his team for the job the guys do ! They do it right , which means they are at the right place ! Making memories is an amazing occupation😊

We had a great stay, and really enjoyed using the hot tub after long adventure days. The home had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable.

La Finca Lodge is a true gem, exceeding expectations with an unparalleled experience. From arrival, we felt like cherished family. Magical ATV tours through sugarcane fields to rejuvenating mineral springs, and serene horseback rides exploring the stunning landscape, were incredible. Culinary delights were 'gastro-tacular,' farm-to-table feasts showcasing local abundance. The lodge's authentic focus shone in every detail. Even early mornings were special, witnessing farm life, feeding animals, and tending greenhouses. Leaving was hard, a testament to the profound connection and exceptional hospitality. This isn't just a stay; it's an immersive experience, an invitation to the region’s heart. We left eager to return, immersed in its magic. Without doubt, one of our finest stays, wholeheartedly recommended for an unforgettable retreat. Thank you to Esteban, the family and staff who made us feel at home. Coincide con la descripción, la casa cuenta con todas las comodidades para disfrutar en familia. Viajamos con un bebé y mascotas y no tuvimos ningún inconveniente.

Nos encantó nuestra estadía en este lugar. Mi familia y yo disfrutamos muchísimo de los días que pasamos aquí. El espacio es cómodo y acogedor, y la piscina fue un gran plus para todos. Además, el billar (pool) fue una excelente adición para la diversión en familia. ¡Sin duda, una experiencia increíble y nos encantaría volver!

Nos encantó nuestra estancia en este Airbnb. El espacio es amplio, tranquilo y seguro, ideal para descansar y disfrutar de la naturaleza. Todo estaba muy bonito y ordenado, lo que hizo nuestra experiencia aún más placentera. Un detalle menor fue que el televisor no funcionaba, pero con tanto por disfrutar al aire libre, realmente no hizo falta. Además, la amabilidad de doña Gloria hizo que nos sintiéramos bienvenidos en todo momento. ¡Definitivamente un lugar para volver!

Muy lindo el lugar la verdad, a mi familia y a mí nos encantó mucho todo, la piscina la disfrutamos y nos gustó que tuviera un área para niños ya que siempre viajamos con niños, los anfitriones muy amables y en general todo fue excelente

Pros: Muy espaciosa, excelente ducha y cama king de la habitación principal. A/A en las 2 habitaciones. Muy cerca de la Catarata La Fortuna. Pava, cafetera y lo necesario para cocinar. Muy linda terraza techada. Lavarropas y secarropas disponible (recuerda llevar tu propio jabón). A considerar: No había agua caliente en la bacha de la cocina. El gallo del vecino puede despertarte si tienes sueño liviano :P Vivimos una situación de mala suerte: entró por una hendija de la puerta estando cerrada una serpiente caracolera (perseguía a un saltamontes). Sabemos que no es culpa del alojamiento en sí, que aunque pueda ser esperable por estar en entorno de selva, no quita que nos hayamos pegado un buen susto. Destacamos el rápido accionar del host, quien vino con alguien para sacarla de adentro de la casa. Para el momento de esta evaluación seguramente el host ya agregó una barrera para la puerta como nos mencionó que iba a hacer. Igualmente volveríamos a alojarnos sin dudarlo!! :)

Los anfitriones son muy calidos te hacen sentir como en casa y el hospedaje es muy bonito y bien equipado, esta en una zona rural pero cerca de todo a la vez lo cual lo hace una casa ideal para descansar, muy complacida con la estancia.

I had an exceptional experience staying with Alonzo and his family. Their hospitality was outstanding—they were attentive and responsive to all my needs. When I requested a yoga mat, they promptly provided it, along with everything else I asked for. The accommodation is nestled in a serene and peaceful location, perfect for those seeking privacy and tranquility. However, I recommend having a car if you plan to explore the area. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I highly recommend it.

Splendid Home and Grounds. Beautifully designed spaces everywhere perfectly organized and maintained. All details are luxuriously anticipated with nothing left to chance for a wonderful stay. Even has an ylang ylang tree in the front yard! House is an architectural gem.

Este lugar es excepcional si uno desea salir de la ciudad, el clima, la naturaleza, las vistas, la personas que viven cerca, de verdad que la pasamos increíble, la casa es hermosa, quedamos encantados e inspirados con la decoración, tiene todo lo que uno necesita, además está muy limpia y ordenada, también es importante considerar que es muy seguro! La comunicación fue muy amena, fluida y precisa, estamos agradecidos con habernos hospedado en este hermoso lugar! 20/10

Todo estuvo perfecto! La ubicación es excelente, ingreso a la casa fue sencillo, las indicaciones súper claras y la privacidad de la casa es una de sus principales cualidades. Súper importante comentar que pueden ingresar cualquier tipo de vehículo. Nosotros duramos aproximadamente 9 min de la casa al supermercado más cercano. La atención y comunicación con Home Vacations estuvo perfecta! Súper atentos a las necesidades. Ideal para familias con niños o bebés porque la casa está totalmente equipada.

There is so much to say about Emanuel’s place! First of all it was in a gorgeous area. Please know 4x4 is highly recommended! The house had everything we needed. Emanuel’s mom was there to greet us and to show us the property and show some amazing hospitality! If you want the real experience stay here! Quedamos enamorados de la propiedad. La casa es preciosa, todo estaba limpio y ordenado, cuenta con todo lo que se necesita para sentirse en casa. Los jardines y patio son bellísimos, tienen árboles frutales, la piscina les encantó a mis hijos y al estar al frente de la cocina se está pendiente de los niños siempre. Doña Xenia y don Thierry son bellas personas, siempre con un trato amable y respetuoso, que personas tan tan agradables, sin duda alguna vamos a volver.
