This is a large older home, from another era with all you need. It is quirky and old school Chula in the best way possible. SUPER close to 3rd street, 7 min walk to downtown, 10-15 min to LaBella's. The main entrance lets you into a large sun room, the living room is spacious, plenty of room to hang out and watch TV. Full size dining room, leading to the back washroom and a separate door to the kitchen. Lot of doors! The main bedroom downstairs was spacious with the en suite bathroom that has a large skylight. Bedrooms upstairs were well appointed with nice bedding and comfy beds. I am a city girl, background noise isfine. However this is off a busy main street with markets, businesses and you are surrounded by two (quiet apt buildings). If you are a light sleeper bring earplugs (& eye mask). The backyard gazebo is cute and a nice place to chill. Would love to go back when the fruit trees are in bloom and giving fruit. Overall chill place to stay with an old school family vibe.

This home was perfect for our vacation! very kid/family friendly- he has cribs, baby gates, utensils and plates for kids, lots of books. View was amazing, and is about 15 from everything!

We had a great time at Ciara's place! The unit was spacious and comfortable, and the views of the ocean were great. The neighborhood was also so conveniently located near the beach and many other San Diego neighborhoods we visited. Ciara was very quick to respond when we had a few small questions and made our whole stay easy and comfortable.

This place was so lovely abs restful. The Internet was great for working from home and the yard was perfect for our pups. Walking distance to the beach and lots of fun restaurants. We would highly recommend this place in Oceanside!

My family stayed here for a few days while in town for a reunion, what a great place! The house is very comfortable with plenty of room for three people, a fully functional kitchen, and a porch with a stunning view of the woods surrounding the house. The neighborhood was safe and very hip, and easy to walk around. John recommended the ice cream place nearby and it did not disappoint. The house is also very close by to the museums in Balboa Park, and a very easy drive to several nearby beaches. Communication with John and his son was easy and immediate, they were great hosts! I would definitely recommend staying here!

We were very happy with the place! Bigger than expected and very comfortable! We loved the location because we could pretty much be anywhere in 15 min. The kids loved the game closet (so many!!!) and the treehouse. We enjoyed the Viking stove and spacious kitchen. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were fine. Grill wasn't working but we let the management company know. Parking was easy. Washer/Dryer was new and easy to use. Single cup coffee machine was a little tedious. Neighborhood is very quiet and calm. There is a great view of the bay from the house. Liberty station is notorious for airplane noise so be ready for plane noise starting at 6:30am sharp as they are creating their new runway at SAN. The planes stop at around 10pm so its very quiet for sleeping. Most days the planes were taking off right overhead. One day they were landing instead because of the fog and that was a little quieter. It was exciting watching them take off from the upper balcony. We all got used to it.

Beautiful property! All the beds and bedding were so comfortable. My dog was in heaven, he thought he was a king. Citrus trees galore we made juice every day. Everything you need in the kitchen, and a great kitchen for someone who likes to cook or entertain. Tons of out door space for relaxing! We loved it for three weeks ❤️

Jamal's home is beautiful with a 360 view, comfortable and spacious. Great location! Would recommend anyone staying in SD to visit this home! The neighbors were friendly. I especially appreciated the parking and safety!

We had a family gathering for the weekend and enjoyed our stay. It’s a very lovely property and we loved it. Bryan suggested a few restaurants we loved and some activities close by that made the trip interesting. We would come back again.

This home is a true Gem. It’s private, Quiet & It has beautiful ocean views! Loved falling asleep & waking up to the sound of the ocean & waves below the home. The master bath is dreamy! I loved every part of the home!😍 I can’t be thankful enough. Linda is an AMAZING host! Honestly, it’s By far my best experience in an Airbnb. We had an AMAZING/RELAXING time. I have never felt more at home, at someone else’s home. Linda was so attentive & accommodated to all our needs! My kids loved the space, there is plenty of room for them to walk around, play & enjoyed sitting around watching Netflix comfortably just like at home. The beach is also just feet away. The house is fully equipped with everything you can possibly need. Everything functioned perfectly. There’s not a single negative thought, other than, I wished we can stay longer.. Eyasu was responsive at all times. He was flexible and accommodating to our requests. The space was perfect for our large family. We enjoyed sitting outside bbqing, playing games and pool. As we had plans for Legoland and the Safari Park the location worked great for us as close to the highway.

I had an amazing stay! The location was ideal, with easy access to nearby attractions and a short drive to the airport, making travel a breeze. One of the highlights was the farmers market held on the weekend just around the corner—great for fresh produce, local goods, and a fun atmosphere. The space itself was comfortable and welcoming, and I couldn't have asked for a better spot to relax after exploring the area.

The bed was incredibly comfortable—I had a great night’s sleep throughout my stay. One small consideration: since the house is located along the flight path of a nearby airport, you might occasionally hear planes overhead, even during the night. If you’re sensitive to noise, I’d recommend bringing earplugs. That said, the overall value is excellent. With six rooms available for under $500 per night, it’s a fantastic deal for groups or families. A bonus for runners: there’s a scenic riverside track nearby, and I really enjoyed my morning jogs there.

Where do I start. Juli is AMAZING to work with. She is TRULY a GEM. I feel like we've gained a life-long friend (as odd as that sounds). Her communication is SUPERB. She is full of ideas, recommendations, and just all out GREAT ADVICE. She was our first Airbnb booking and she made the process absolutely seamless. She had outstanding ideas and recommendations to local grocery stores, things to do, etc. She explained the check-in process in AMAZING detail and we had no questions going in. This villa was amazing. Basically a one bedroom suite with an attached standard hotel room. Four Seasons 5 star service all the way. All amenities were available including room service and daily maid service if wanted. Will stay next time we’re down visiting family in the area. Thanks Rita!

Dejourne was an excellent host—very responsive and accommodating to all our needs. The space was perfect for our family, with a fantastic play area full of toys and activities for the kids. The kitchen was fully equipped and spacious, ideal for hosting a large group. The front yard was expansive and offered a stunning view from the top of the hill, giving a sense of seclusion and escape from the city. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home. Great place to stay. Has all the amenities one would need for their trip. The amazing pool and backyard kept the adults and children entertained all weekend. Only 25 mins to downtown. Paul is an excellent communicator. Quickly addressed minor issues we had. Super helpful, would definitely stay here again.
