Wonderful stay! A very sweet and economical little motel in a convenient, walkable location. Hosts were kind and very responsive. Excellent experience.

You hardly ever come to a place and it’s better than expected, but this was the case with our room at Smiley’s. Charming as heck with a lovely porch. Once we figured out that you just check in with the bartender it was all good. The bar is fun too and we had a rousing ping pong game in the evening. The morning was gorgeous and we strolled down to the beach. A great spot.

My granddaughter & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this airbnb. The location was perfect! I wasn't sure of the arrangements and whether I had my own "apartment" but now I understand it was a fully furnished time-share apartment in a building with many others. While I did hear the folks upstairs, the noise wasn't bad - I did hear the frequent trolly car and that was fun! Loved the welcome bags, fully furnished kitchen with coffee & filters, TV in every room & I actually figured out how to use the ComCast - so my 10y/o granddaughter was happy watching Disney+. Again, the location was superb - and just what I wanted! The price was appropriate for the location and San Francisco. Thank you for making my trip a success!

A fantastic location! We weren’t sure what to expect when booking this spot, but were so pleased to arrive and find a lovely hotel in a perfect location! The room, rented out via a time-share agreement I think, was simple and clean. Easy check-in, just as you would a hotel room. Helpful team on the front desk, and to top it all, fantastic breakfast! You can fill up before heading out for a day in this great city. We recommend mooching around the restaurants and delis on nearby Hayes Valley, and heading to Blue Bottle coffee nearby for a morning drink. Would love to stay again!

We enjoyed our stay here. The accomodations were very comfortable and the staff was responsive and welcoming. We liked that it is in a quiet neighborhood, but close to lots of action.

We stayed in Berkeley to attend the Kraftwerk show at the Greek Theater. We really enjoyed staying in such a unique and fun place. As music fans, it was neat imagining how the unit was used as a recording studio. We enjoyed taking a shower under the green foliage and eating breakfast in the lush patio. Super fun!! Erin was friendly, communicative and hospitable throughout our entire stay. A true super host!! Will definitely come back next time we’re in town. Thank you!

Easy check in, extremely friendly staff, simple room with all the necessary amenities. There’s a cute little garden in the back and in a great location.
