Ana and Mario are great hosts. Very pleasant and loving. We enjoyed staying with a Guatemalan family. We had lots of talks at breakfast. The host provides breakfast and she does understand if you have dietary issues. The host are very helpful to provide solutions if you have any local needs. Definitely recommended and if in town will not hesitate to stay with the family.

Bonito lugar, muy acogedor y muy buena ubicación

We had a lovely time staying at Veronica's place! The location is perfect and the house is beautiful and spacious. The porch swing and views of the volcano from the roof were highlights. The only downside was that the second bedroom seemed more like a small hallway to the bathroom. The photos accurately show it, but we didn't realize that it would be so small and separated. We decided to share the main bedroom rather than have one person sleep there, which worked fine for us because there was plenty of space.

Lo recomiendo mucho, es un lugar muy bonito y a gusto para descansar, para llegar al jardín central caminas unos 10 minutos e incluso de noche está muy tranquilo Los anfitriones estuvieron al pendiente de todo y me permitieron dejar mi maleta en lo que podía pasar a mi habitación y pasaban por mi. Me encontré a un personal de limpieza y también muy amable preguntó si necesitaba algo adicional ya qué estuve varios días. Es una excelente opción para hospedarte.

The place was absolutely beautiful! Roberto and his family were superb hosts. The room and surroundings exceeded our expectations. Everything that we needed was accessible within a walking distance - the church, stores, restaurants, the park. Thank you for opening your home to us! ❤️

I loved staying at Iliana and Hector’s place. It was perfect. The room it is just as described and better! I truly enjoyed my stay here it felt like a hotel room! I definitely recommend. It’s close enough to the center of Antigua, you can walk literally anywhere and it’s far enough where you can still get a peaceful sleep/rest. Thank you again Iliana and Hector!

This was the best last minute decision trip I have ever made. Lucy and Neti were extremely welcoming, fun to talk to, breakfast was always amazing and I even went out with them a few times during my short stay. The location is on the outskirts of town so it's nice and quiet but still extremely walkable to everything. I felt safe as a solo female traveler the entire time and could not have asked for a better experience or time in Antigua, largely thanks to booking this Airbnb, meeting Lucy and her family. She also helped arranged airport transportation with her nephew, Rene who is also a great tour guide. I had not made any prior plans and ended up booking two private tours with Rene, I learned a lot and we had a lot of great conversations! I highly recommend anyone interested in meeting a lovely family with a beautiful, cozy private room and bathroom to book this place if you get the chance!
