Happy Valley Studio rests in a lovely rural neighborhood, near 2800 acres of Community Forestlands hiking trails. It's ~15 minutes (3.6 Mi) from the Ferry to the San Juan Islands/Sidney BC, and an easy 5 minutes from downtown Anacortes. You will love the quiet neighborhood, and our lovely gardens and pond. Clean, cozy, roomy studio apartment with its own private balcony entry and skylights to keep it bright and cheery. Fully equipped kitchenette, with a microwave and refrigerator (no stove.)

Please inquire about sleeping comfort if you’re a couple needing to sleep separate. The pullout couch is very small and uncomfortable and will not accommodate a medium to large adult. Seals, otters, eagles and deer are your neighbors. Walk to Turtleback Mountain south trailhead for grand views above. The secluded Hot Tub is tucked under cedar trees, over the beach, private for either cabin, but not at the same time.

Our thoughtfully equipped waterfront mini guesthouse is just steps away from our beachfront on the Guemes Island. Located on the scenic western shore of the island, you can enjoy extraordinary sunsets, panoramic island views, miles of beach combing, and abundant wildlife. Our mini guesthouse, "The Seldom Inn" measuring 12 ft. x 14 ft. in size, is approximately 150 feet from our private beach and is located behind our main home.
