Mulberry Cabin is conveniently located halfway between Charleston and the capital city of Columbia in Rowesville, SC. Please note the cabin is located in a small town, not in the country. Rowesville is 11 minutes from the beautiful Edisto Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg. Orangeburg has many restaurants, Wal-Mart, and a Starbucks near I-26. Columbia is about an hour away. Charleston is about 75 minutes away. Enjoy a break from Wi-Fi as you watch a DVD and relax in a 130 year old rustic cabin.

This pond-side cottage is a peaceful place to relax & unwind. Sit in the sunroom and enjoy watching the birds & the water or enjoy the front porch rockers where you can listen to the birds & frogs. We are 12 min. from downtown Sumter & 20 min from Shaw AFB. Local points of interest are Swan Lake Iris Gardens, Poinsett State Park & Congaree Nat. Park. It's only 2 hrs to Myrtle Beach or Charleston & 3 hrs to the mtns. While it's conveniently located, this cottage offers a quiet place to relax.

It is nestled on 6 serene acres, among massive windswept Live Oaks dripping with Spanish moss, Palmettos, azaleas, camellia, magnolias and creape myrtle, yet so conveniently close to Shaw Air Force base, 30 mins to Columbia and Camden, close to all Sumter's attractions.

It has 12 ft ceilings throughout, a large dining room, living room, and kitchen area, a beautiful foyer and large staircase, an office, laundry room, large porches, a fireplace, a carport, and a basketball court. You can conveniently walk on a paved walkway to the fenced pool area.

Ramp and beach picnic area included. Remodled to a farmhouse feel, this 3 bedroom, 1 bath has 2 king beds & two singles. Two single beds share the same space as living room. Great retreat after a long day of fishing, or hanging out with family and friends. Be back fast to unwind by the firepit.

Bring your family or group to this 3 bedroom 1+ bath place in the large trees with lots of room for relaxing and fun (….if you are a jeans and sweatshirt kind of person. It is not the Hilton!) TVs in each room, and 2 covered decks. Fish, or just sit out on the dock, watch the boats run by, and appreciate the lake. We rarely use the dock ourselves. 600’ from our public boat ramp with a park and small beach. Please also note that we do have cameras installed that monitor outside only.

We purchased our home is 2006 and began a complete interior and exterior renovation. In 2023 we installed solar panels and an electric vehicle charging station, yet we also have access to the grid for cloudy days and when power demand exceeds what our panels generate. We use a deep well for water. Bring your family for an off-the-grid vacation in our lake home!
