Near to Alton Towers (20 miles), Keele University, Trentham Gardens, Emma Bridgewater, Wedgwood and Gladstone Pottery Museum Please note we live above the apartment. Our "annex" sits in perfect solitude behind our garage. surrounded by only farming fields with no neighbours the flat gives peace and quiet to all who stay. Both the bedroom and shower wet room have large windows to make the most of the beautiful view into the woodlands and further afield. there is a small space outside with a bench to sit and watch the sun set over the field. you are welcome to bring a BBQ with you to enjoy the view with outside cooking! Please note there is no TV in the space

Hawthorn Cottage - Romantic Getaway with Hot Tub

Step back in time to 1672 with a romantic stay at Hawthorn Cottage. This thatched cottage is a true gem, with its original low beamed ceilings, inglenook fireplace, and cranked staircase. The cottage offers all modern amenities, including private access, underfloor heating, a fully fitted kitchen, and a bathroom with bathtub. Outside you are surrounded by countryside, with an enclosed garden at your disposal and your very own hot tub, which promises to be a relaxing and indulgent experience.

Rock End Retreat

Rock End Retreat is a spacious self contained bungalow with parking for two cars. It has easy access and is set in a peaceful and private setting on a working family dairy farm. The retreat is modern with plush bedrooms and comfy sofas with newly refurbished kitchen and bathroom. The outside area is securely fenced so that pooches can explore safely. We can offer farm tours for those interested in the milking process. Also The Woodland Watch shepherd’s hut can accommodate extra guests here.

This 2 bedroom mews is just a 2 minute walk from Sandbach. This historical cobbled market town boasts a good selection of upmarket eatery’s, pubs, restaurants, boutiques & shops. There is a weekly Thursday market and a makers market once a month on a Saturday. This is a perfect location for families or couples wishing to explore many places of interest nearby & Cheshire's beautiful countryside, it provides the perfect base for attending weddings, special events or if just passing through.

Waters Edge

Looking for a relaxing break, or need a place to stay for a wedding, this is the perfect getaway set in the stunning Cheshire countryside. Set within 16acres of grassland, with a great view out over the pond, Waters Edge has plenty of wildlife to spot. There is a lovely walk around the local sand quarry with a stop off at the Waggon & Horses and if you fancy something longer you can head up to the cloud or the roaches. You are a two minute drive to Sandhole Oak Barn and The Plough Inn.

There are a number of National Trust properties within easy reach , as well as Alton Towers, Chatsworth House, the antique shops of Leek and the pottery towns of Stoke on Trent.

Simply furnished and comfortable, you can relax inside the cottage or explore the garden - the patio, the hammock, the fire-pit, or the BBQ, or just sitting in the damson orchard admiring the blossom!

The local area offers nice walks, National Trust properties and gardens, offering a perfect relaxing weekend or mid-week break.

The house is situated at the end of the road (dead end) so no through traffic and very quiet. Within steps of the front door you can access the footpath that’s takes you in to our wonderful countryside within a few minutes.

Our property is an ideal spot for families wanting to explore the area, small cycling/walking groups or for those just passing through.
