Quirky cottage with sea views

This is a quirky, charming Irish cottage near Goleen in the heart of West Cork. Close to magnificent beaches, restaurants, west cork trails, Mizen head, water sports and many other activities. With the most beautiful vistas and the village of Goleen within a couple of minutes drive. The cottage is situated on private grounds near my house where i grow vegetables and keep chickens. This property would be suitable for a couple, family with kids that can sleep on a loft or a writers retreat.

The stone cottage which is over 250 years old has been recently renovated and retains its traditional style: stone and white-washed walls, inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove. There are also modern conveniences: heating, Wifi, TV with Netflix and fully equipped kitchen. Downstairs there is an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area with a vaulted ceiling and the bathroom. Upstairs is a cosy double bedroom. The cottage maintains many original features including the original stone floor and hearth.
